LAS GAVIOTAS PACKING LIST

Other than Winter months, you may find the days warm and dry, the mornings and nights cool. It is best to pack for warm/hot days and cool nights. There are many activities for you to consider while staying in Las Gaviotas.

WHAT TO BRING:

• Confirmation Letter with Gate Pass — emailed when reservation was confirmed
• BEACH TOWELS — towels for the pool or beach
• Beach Games (volleyball, Bocce ball, horse shoes, kites for flying etc.)
• Surf Gear (wet-suit & booties)
• Pool Wear
• Tennis Gear
• Golf Equipment
• Sun Hat
• Sun Screen
• Sun Glasses
• Your favorite books & magazines to read
• Flashlight
• Money (cash) bring in small denominations i.e.: $1, $5, $10 — don't depend upon credit cards!

CELL PHONE:

Guests will not have access to phone service in our home. There are payphones located outside of the clubhouse and the guard station. Cell phones work in the area. You need to check with your provider prior to going into Mexico to be sure your service is set up properly.

* Each Saturday, during peak season there is a fresh fish market set up near the Clubhouse in Las Gaviotas for guests to purchase their fresh fish.

* Taxis — drinking and driving in Mexico can be more dangerous than in the United States. We recommend if guests are going to drink while out of the community, make sure you have a designated driver or/ take the taxis. If heading in to Rosarito, you can catch a taxis for $1.00 in and return for $10.00 or less per person late in the evening.
